Contemporary Family Home, Singapore

Situated on the East Coast of Singapore and overlooking the Singapore Strait, this newly built three-bedroom condominium was designed for a working couple who love enjoying the idyllic lifestyle the Lion City has to offer. A lack of space is often an issue in newly-built condominiums, so the design brief was to not only create a luxurious home, but to also maximise the available space.

A cleverly designed nook at the entrance not only creates a place to sit when taking shoes on and off, but it also uses a curved wall that is so often under-utilised. The entrance leads into a modern kitchen and separate dining area, which is also limited in space. To counteract this, bench seating was built around a round marble dining table to open up the walkway.

The dining area flows smoothly into an open living area with spectacular views over the Singapore coastline. The dark timber used on the walls contrasts perfectly with the earthy tones of the flooring, sofa and bench seating. The natural light helps to bring out the gorgeous tones in the flooring, providing a wonderful place to entertain family and friends, or simply relax after a day at work.

The remainder of the condominium consists of three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a moody vibe with dark timber walls and built in wardrobes. One of the bedrooms was designed as a study with a built in desk and shelves, as the homeowners often work from home.

One of the most important criteria at The Boutiq Lab when designing a home is that our clients have a home that they not only love and adore, but one that they are proud to live in and call home. Our clients absolutely love their new home, and so do we!
