Modern Contemporary Studio Apartment, Singapore

With the size of apartments getting smaller and more compact, we believe that it is even more important to be knowledgeable of clever and innovative spatial planning.

Our client came to us with a brief to design a modern, contemporary theme for this studio apartment. He wanted his apartment, albeit small, to feel spacious and bright.

We used American Oak veneer as the main element of the apartment’s joinery. This veneer enables the apartment to look modern and contemporary, which is exactly what the client wanted.

Black and grey hues were subtly interjected throughout the apartment to create a sense of depth and to make it more masculine. The bedroom features a fluted panel headboard in the same American veneer. This breaks the monotony of the colour, as it is seen and used throughout the apartment by adding in texture and detail.
