Soft Luxury Penthouse, Singapore

Situated on the idyllic East Coast of Singapore, this penthouse overlooks the Singapore Strait and the cityscape of the iconic Marina Bay – the epitome of luxury living.

The scope of this project was to create an elegant, yet luxurious home, where the panoramic view of the picturesque coastline is the star. Whilst keeping the colour scheme muted, the furniture pieces highlighted in this apartment were unique and a statement all on their own. The designs reflected sophistication and restraint, whilst maintaining a sense of opulence. This modern luxury apartment evokes the emotion of awe, comfort and romanticism, which is exactly what the client desired and envisaged from the beginning of this project.

The double-story ceiling height in the living space features a statement sculptural glass chandelier that draws your attention upwards, accentuating the double-story height and giving it an even greater feel of grandeur. Organically designed bespoke furniture is introduced to give the apartment a sense of serenity and softness.

The main living areas are divided into two – the main sitting area and the TV lounge area. The furniture is divided by an arched console that features a forest green marble. The TV wall features a beautiful handpicked Calacatta gold natural marble, and bespoke decorative glass panels. We layered the neutral palette of the living areas with colourful décor, making this gorgeous space feel even more exciting.

The master bedroom on the second floor features a grand four-post bed in brass finishings, and a lavish wardrobe made of leather with a mirror finish. The guest bedroom oozes style and luxury, whilst the staircase features a Gucci heron wallpaper on the main wall that is complimented by a beautiful daffodil yellow paint. “This is the boldest colour we have ever had for our house. We were afraid at first but we absolutely loved how it turned out”, says the client.

As the clients are continually entertaining guests and hosting parties, they wanted to be able to “wow” their guests from the moment they step through the door. With Silversea, we feel that we have achieved exactly that.
